Winners

Great news! Dimitri, the stop motion tv-series I animated on a while back, has recently won the prize for Best Animation Series for Children at the Ottawa International Animation Festival!

And while I’m at it, ...

The winner of this year’s Cartoon d’Or (award for the best European animated short film) is La bûche de Noël (Panique au Village) by Stéphane Aubier and Vincent Patar. This film was partly made at Beast Animation, while I worked there as an intern.

Week van de Smaak

Here's the short animation I made for De Vistournee (the fish tour), a project by Week van de Smaak! This year's theme is sustainable food, in particular Belgian fish.

Since the shooting of 'Dimitri', the tv-series I got to work on, ended in April, I've picked up my graduation film where I left off. And about a week ago I finally finished it, and thereby my animation studies!

My film is called 'Mie', and here's a little preview:

New Year Card

Finally found the time to post this year's New year card, aaand... to announce that I've found a new job: since a few months I've been working as a stop-motion animator at Beast Animation!! Hooray!
The project I'm working on is 'Dimitri', a pre-school television series.

Long time since my last post, but it's been a busy summer: I got the chance to work as an intern at Beast Animation, a studio specialised in stop motion animation! I already learned a lot, and was very lucky to get involved in some great projects, like the TV-special of 'Dimitri in Ubuyu':
